The language school is located in the heart of Portsmouth and in the very best area of the city; next to the main shopping centre, library and railway station, theatre and restaurants, and yet is still within walking distance of the 10 km of beaches and sea-front. You can reach most of the city's attractions in less than 30 minutes walking.
Language School
In mid 1997, the school bought and fully converted its outstanding new building into what is now certainly one of the most impressive language training facilities in the U.K. The school counts 50 superbly equipped and beautifully decorated classrooms, all with excellent natural light and ventilation. There is also a large student lounge & recreation area with pool, snooker, table tennis, billiards, TV/video and board games and a bistro-style cafeteria offering hot and cold snacks and light meals.
The multimedia CD-Rom computers are all instantly connected to the internet via ADSL and WIFI internet connection is available throughout the building. Students can use the internet for free in the computer room (from 12:15 - 13:45 and from 16:30 - 17:30, executive student have an extra hour from 08:30 - 09:30).
The school's Executive Training Centre is one of the best equipped training facilities in Britain and includes:

Self-Access CentreOur partner schools believee that

Professional CommunicationOur partner is one of the top Executive English Training centres in the UK and specialises in the design of specifically-tailored ‘English for Professional Communications’ courses on a ‘one-to-one’ or ‘small group’ basis for many major international companies. The courses are essentially practical; they are designed to improve communicative performance in a wide range of professional, business and commercial contexts and may include English for meetings, English for negotiations, making presentations, dealing with numerical data, telephoning, socialising and entertaining, fax, e-mail, letter and report writing.
Language Course for Young Professionals
Standard + Business English Course (12,5 general English + 12,5 Business + 5 self-study lessons per week) 30 lessons per week divided as follow :
- 12h30 in a General English Group (12 participants maximum per group)
- 12h30 in a 'Small Business Group' (4 professional people from different companies maximum per group).
- 5h00 (optional) of self-access study lessons
For this option, participants should have a starting level of lower-intermediate or above and a minimum age of 25. The half day Business English component is designed to improve communicative performance in a wide range of professional, business and commercial contexts and may include the language of meetings, negotiations, making presentations, dealing with numerical data, telephoning, socialising & entertaining, fax, e-mail, letter & report writing.
- 30 lessons per week from Monday to Friday
- 1 lesson = 60 minutes
- Minimum duration: 2 weeks
- Level : from Pre-Intermédiaire to Advanced
- General English from 09h30 to 12h15
- Business English from 13h45 to 16h30
- Self-access study lessons from 16h30 to 17h30
Option : Group lunch with a teacherParticipants take their lunch at a local restaurant accompanied by other participants and a member of the teaching staff from Monday to Friday which represents
approximately 7h30 of English use outside of the classroom.

When Monday is a Bank Holiday, courses start on a Tuesday.
The school is closed for Christmas vacation from 17th December 2010 to 4th January 2011.
