Germany
Since long, „Made in Germany“ became equivalent
with a brand mark for high quality products and superb
technology. This history of inventions goes back to
the invention of the moveable type printing by J.
Gutenberg in 1439. But off course Germany has more to
offer than engineering. Also acclaimed as the country
of “poets and thinkers” for centuries, Germany was a
breeding ground for fine arts and brought about world
famous composers, philosophers and scientists. However
Germans do not always sit at home and think all day.
Festivals such as the “Oktoberfest” in Munich or the
“Loveparade” (invented in Berlin) are known throughout
the world, which holds also true for the good beer and
hearty, fresh food, preferably consumed in one of the
many beer gardens in the summer time.
Berlin as the
old and new capital has seen one of most amazing
developments in recent Europe after Germanys
reunification and is the new hot spot for creative and
young people from Europe and all over the world.
Munich looks back at a longer history than Berlin and
represents the more traditional picture of Germany,
with the Bavarian culture at the forefront. Not only
famous for its Oktoberfest, Munich also offers great
times in beer gardens and offers a great surrounding.
Close to the Alps and famous attractions such as “Neuschwarnstein”,
the Bavarian capital attracts about 100 million
visitors each year. |
