The modern and communicative approach will stimulate your interest in learning the Italian language. The course contents cover all aspects of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing. - 1 lesson = 45 minutes
- Max. group size: 12 students (15 students in the Preparatory Course for University Admission and Preparatory Course for Fashion & Design Schools)
Levels On the first day at school students take a specially designed written, listening and oral placement test, so that the school can place you in the appropriate group for your language level. The school holds regular progress tests at the end of each level. These enable you and your teachers to measure your language development and evaluate your performance over a period of time. According to the Common European Framework our Italian language school partner offers A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 levels corresponding to 12 levels of the school´s learning scale from beginner (level 1) to proficient (level 12).
IMPORTANT NOTE: The proficient level, corresponding to level C2 of the common European Framework and level 11-12 of the school’s scale, is organized only in certain periods of the year and upon request from universities or higher educational institutes.
Learning Materials: are not included in the price. They can be purchased at the school at a price of EUR 20-30 depending on the level. Exceptions: Learning materials of the University Preparation, Preparation for Fashion & Design Schools and Summer Professional Training in Fashion courses are included in the price. |

| Standard Italian Language Course (20 lessons per week) | | Work is in a small group and covers all aspects of the language with a particular emphasis on developing communicative skills in speaking and writing. Each group is taught by two teachers a day in order to ensure more varied and stimulating instruction. | Intensive Italian Language Course (30 lessons per week) | This Italian language course is designed for motivated students who need to improve their Italian language skills either for general use or for their study or work. | In the morning you will develop your general Italian language skills. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to spend more time to focus on specific aspects of Italian language and culture. You can improve your Italian communication skills and you will be given further practice in areas such as conversation and vocabulary expansion.
You can also choose to focus on the use of Italian in a work context. You will broaden your vocabulary, improve your social and intercultural skills and develop your writing skills.

| Preparatory Course for University Admission (25 lessons per week) | To be admitted to an Italian University, international students are required to take an entrance examination. This course focuses on academic Italian and prepares the students for the subject-specific admission exams for the following Bachelor degrees: Medicine, Veterinary, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Architecture, Design and Engineering, The first module of programme concentrates on academic Italian and includes an in-depth study of the language with focus on study skills, an overview of the main aspects of Italian culture. In the second module of the course, the students will focus on a specific training in subjects such as Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry History of Architecture, Logic etc. according to the chosen degree.

| Italian Language Course + Internship Program | Throughout the year our Italian partner language school offers you the opportunity to participate in day-to-day business activities and practice your Italian skills in real-life situations through an unpaid internship experience in an Italian company or organization. The first part of the programme includes a standard or intensive language preparatory Italian course for a min. of 4 weeks to improve your Italian skills. In the second part you will be placed in a company or organization in your field of interest.
Details: - Italian language course: 20 or 30 lessons per week; min. 4 weeks

| Cultural and leisure activities are organised by our partner school as a varied programme with on average three or four events each week. These usually include lectures on various aspects of contemporary Italian culture and society, a selection of famous Italian films shown regularly at the school, evenings out for aperitivo in trendy Milanese cafés, museums and gallery visits, concerts, walks in typical and interesting areas of Milan. Excursions are organized during weekends to places of interest close to Milan and to other famous cities. The programme is run with a team of teachers and provides an opportunity to have fun, practice your Italian and meet other students. |  |
