Cultural and leisure programme included in the price
We want to communicate more than German language. The cultural and leisure programme will present a many-sided view of Vienna and Austrian culture. And the best of it is that everything is included in the price. Every German course features five lessons of our cultural and leisure programme a week. | - Vienna city walks and guided tours take our students into the city’s nooks and crannies.
- Talks on Austrian music, art, history, literature and architecture allow for insights into the workings of Austrian society.
- Videos with teacher support: vocabulary help and discussion help you understand.
- Fun/adventure: Viennese waltz course, cooking, parties, karaoke, a torchlight walk through Vienna, a visit of a ‘Heurigen’ (traditional wine tavern) or a beer pub.
- Sports: aerobic or ball games like football or volleyball.
| | | You will find out about the detailed programme during your stay in Vienna. The programme is conducted in German and is suitable for all course levels. Many elements of the programme are supported by mulitmedia resources and require active articipation from students - no matter what course level. The programme is also eminently suitable for beginners. |

Excursions and leisure optional at cost price (please click here)
Free evenings are perfect for discovering Vienna on your own. Our students often opt for opera, concert, theatre or cinema visits. The school is happy to assist you with ticket reservations and hot tips on Vienna’s night life. The weekends are a time for culture and nature. The school organizes trips and excursions to Salzburg (“Mozart city”), Graz (capital of Styria), Klosterneuburg (famous for its Babenberg heritage) and to “Wachau“ region and Danube valley. In summer, students can swim at Lake Neusiedl and savour Austrian wine at taverns (“Heuriger”). You can swim, cycle, sail, surf and waterski to your heart’s content at Vienna’s “Donauinsel“ (Danube Island). Sporty students and teachers can also get together for soccer and volleyball. In winter, we organize skiing and snowboarding days. Excursions are booked and paid for directly in Vienna. |
