Option: Lunch Package The school is offering the option of a warm lunch package from Monday to Friday at a price of USD 60 per week. This can be booked in advance or upon arrival. Every day you will have lunch at a San Diego Downtown Restaurant. Methods & Materials Most of the highly qualified teachers of the school have worked overseas and bring their experiences into the classroom. Teachers use modern methods and materials to help you progress quickly. The program fees include a textbook for your course, but teachers also introduce practical English from magazines, newspapers, movies, television, and music. Instruction also includes field trips or other activities designed to develop fluency. Classes are small so that students receive individual attention. Certificates & Exams All students who complete their programs receive an official Certificate of Attendance. Students may register for a variety of exams, at an additional charge, while at the school. Students interested in exams are encouraged to enroll in one of the following courses : TOEIC, TOEFL and Cambridge Exam Preparation. The school is an official TOEIC ® test center that hosts exams every month. The English language school offers various basic language courses, in addition to other specialized courses which are offered periodically, according to student demand. Lessons are structured in such a way that one studies all aspects of the English language: grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, as well as conversation. Our English language school partner also offers special exam preparation programs for TOEIC and the Cambridge First and Advanced Certificate Exams. In addition, special Business and Private classes are available. The school has also an Internet Cafe that gives students FREE access to the Internet and Email, and a computer lab for exam preparation and general English improvement. | The school offers a minimum of 3 levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and depending on the student numbers they have up to 25 levels in high season. New students are thoroughly tested on their first day and placed in levels according to their overall scores. The flexible program schedules allow students to change levels easily as they progress. Courses follow to the levels of the Common European Framework.

Intensive PLUS English Language Course (22 lessons per week - Student Visa option)
| The Intensive PLUS English Language course is the same as the Intensive English language course, but includes more lessons so that you meet student visa requirements.
It is targeted to students that want to come on a student visa and must meet the requirements of the United States government taking more than 18 hours per week. The 22 lessons of 50 min. each is fulfilling this requirement and allows you to ask for your student visa. This course goes from Mon - Fri from 08:40am-12:20pm just like the regular Intensive course plus two afternoon lessons on Monday 01:10pm-03:00pm. The school is an official TOEIC test center. Taking the official TOEIC exam after the course is recommended, but not required. For this reason, the TOEIC fee is not included, but may be paid to the school optionally once the student arrives. TOEIC exams are held once a month at the school. * Students who would like to take part in a TOEFL preparation course can register for this course. Starting dates available upon request. Note that our partner school in San Diego is not an official TOEFL ® exam center. Thus, you won't be able to take the test at the school. However, it is possible to take the test near San Diego in other centers on specific dates and according to availability. Test fees are not included in the price. | You can combine the Intensive English language course (20 lessons per week) in the morning with Surfing lessons in the afternoon. Surf lessons take place on the beautiful island of Coronado, just minutes from downtown. Surf lessons include instruction, tips, gear rental and practice time. The price includes a soft top new technology surf board, a wetsuit and all necessary equipment. A surfing lesson lasts 120 minutes (20 minutes instruction on the beach and 1 hour and 40 minutes in the water). | Surfing lessons are held on two afternoons between Monday and Friday according to the student’s needs. If there is a minimum of 6 students participating in the course, students can be picked up from the school to the surfing location in the school’s private shuttle van. | Our English language school partner is now offering English plus Fitness packages. Learn English during the morning and use the afternoon to work out at a gym, golf, take yoga classes or many other fitness activities. This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport or improve your skills in one you already know! The Fitness packages can be combined with any English language course and may include more than one sport. All fitness reservations will be made before arrival, and some schedules are flexible. When school is out, we know how to have fun, too. There are many exciting things for you to do as a visitor to San Diego. The school can help you to enjoy a number of other activities on your own or with other students. Surfing, skydiving, rollerblading, horse riding, golfing, biking, dancing, and dining are just a few of the things you can do after school. The school regularly organizes school trips to major attractions in California and Nevada, such destinations as Disneyland, San Francisco and Las Vegas and has a full-time Activity Coordinator. (Transportation, entrance fees, housing and consumption is not incl. in the price) Bicycle Rental: You have the option to rent bicycles at the school at a price of USD 15 per week or USD 50 per month. | | |

Visas & Documents The school is authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to issue the I-20 form Certificate of Eligibility to international students. If you plan to enter the US on a student visa, you must request an I-20 (visa invitation letter) and enroll in a course with a minimum of 18 clock hours . The admissions staff of our partner school will advise you regarding other documents you may need. If the main purpose of your visit is not English studies, you may enter on a visa waiver or other appropriate visa. Contact your local US embassy for more information regarding visas. All students are advised to purchase medical insurance prior to arrival. The school is registered with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, under the California Department of Consumer Affairs. The Center is also SEVIS-approved by the Department of Justice. The Center has been in operation since 1981. It is the student´s responsibility to arrive at the school upon the correct visa.
