You will find lessons are dynamic and interesting, with plenty of interactive learning and close attention from your teacher. You will use a variety of learning material including a course book, newspapers and magazines, online resources and video. The course includes both grammar, vocabulary and syntax as well as the practical use of the English language. | They concentrate on using and improving their language skills through extensive reading, writing, speaking and listening practice. Lessons may include the use of video, television, audio, role-play and authentic texts.

English with Art & Design

| English with Art & Design (28 lessons per week) (Code OAT) | Intensive English with Art and Design combines classes in general English with specialist classes in a variety of art and design related disciplines. English is taught in our regular English Intensive language course to improve your use of the language in all the main skills – reading, writing, speaking, listening grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and expression. Art tuition is given by the school´s regular art teachers. The course includes free use of the dedicated art studio. This course is suitable for students who need to improve their English for study or employment while preparing a portfolio of artwork. It is also beneficial if you simply want to develop your painting and drawing skills. You will have 20 lessons (15 hours) per week of general English classes; you will spend on average 8 lessons (6 hours) per week with your art teacher and you are expected to spend at least another 6 hours per week working in the art studio on your projects. | Details: - 28 lessons per week (21 hours): 20 lessons of general English (15 hours) + 8 lessons of Art (6 hours)

Lessons take place here and students come here to work on projects in their own time. We will provide you with the facilities, the ideas and the professional guidance you need. | |

Summer Vacation English Language Course (20 lessons + 1 excursion per week) (Code SV)
| Great value international summer course with lessons, excursions, sports and activities! The course combines English language lessons with a programme of optional sports and activities and a weekly excursion. The English language course includes classroom lessons focusing on listening, reading, comprehension and grammar as well as speaking and listening exercises. | Essential information: - Available from mid-June to the end of August (every Monday from 21st June - 16th August / the course ends on 27th August 2010)

- A standard activity programme is included but these activities are optional.
- Lessons operate on a shift system with a combination of morning and afternoon sessions.
- The free weekly excursions take place on Saturday. Students are advised to arrive / depart on a Sunday so that they do not miss an excursion.
- Please be aware that this course does not include a complete supervision. Students are treated as adults and are only supervised during classes and school activities.
- Departure Check-in Service: A check-in service may be arranged on request to assist students on departure. A driver or guide will assist the student with check-in and ensure that they pass through immigration. If the student is booked with the airline as Unaccompanied Minor, the driver will also wait until the flight has departed. The fee for this service is GBP 30.
- Unaccompanied Minors: It is essential to notify at least 4 weeks in advance if a student is booked as an Unaccompanied Minor with the airline. For Unaccompanied Minors, the school will provide the name and telephone number of the person meeting the child on arrival and the parents must provide StudyGlobal with the name and contact details of the person meeting the child when they return home.
