Our English language school partner is located on one of the most prestigious streets in the heart of the business district of Dublin. Our partner school is within seven minutes walking distance of the main bus routes and train station, two beautiful parks, St. Stephen’s Green and Fitzwilliam Square, Grafton Street and numerous cafes and restaurants.
All classes are fully equipped with TV, video, educational tape recorders and white boards. Our excellent self-access study library and computer room with highspeed internet access, free e-mail, CD & DVD Rom, listening, reading and video facilities are open every afternoon and available free of charge. Our main school building is also WI-FI enabled (free service) for students who have their own laptop computers. Friendly support is offered by the directors and staff both inside and outside the classroom which contributes to the informal atmosphere of our school. We have an excellent coffee shop where students and staff take their morning and mid-day breaks as well as a common room and garden. | |  | The English language school has a total of seventeen classrooms all featuring the typical high ceilings and excellent plasterwork of that period. Tuition for all courses is provided Monday – Friday, each lesson of 50 minutes duration. The maximum number of students per group is 12 with an average of 8 during the period January to June and Ocotber to December. In the high season from July to September the maximum class size is 14 students.

First day at school (please click here)
General English Course Clients: (STD, STD+, STD+BUS, STD+ EXAM, CPC, SIC/25, SIC/30, Mini-Group for Professionals, Mini-Group + for Professionals): All clients should come to the school for 9.15am on their first day (usually Monday) for their Grading Test and Orientation Session. - Placement Test: This is a straightforward multiple choice written test, listening test and short interview. This test is essential to determine each client's exact level of English, to ensure he/she is placed in the class group most suited to his/her particular level.
- Orientation Session: Immediately following the Placement Test, all new clients will be introduced to staff members in a relaxed and informal setting. Clients will then receive an Information Pack containing full details on their chosen course daily timetables etc. They will also receive maps, bus timetables and a special A-Z Register of useful information on the cost of living in Dublin i.e. food, drinks, postage, etc. This completes the first day of client’s course. Actual tuition to commence on the following day (usually Tuesday), when clients receive their textbooks for the course.
Professional Clients: (IEC/20, IEC/25, IEC/30 & IEC/40): All clients should report to the school for 08.30 hours on their first day. A placement test take place immediately and clients will be placed in their class on completion of the test. Introductions to the directors and school staff will be made during the morning coffee break. |

| The English + internship program is designed for students, graduates and young professionals aged 20 years or over with a good Intermediate (B2) English level. You must take a minimum of 4 weeks Standard Plus Business English language course before you start your unpaid work experience placement. Work experience placements are arranged for periods of 4 weeks to 24 weeks. 4 weeks is the minimum period, 8 to 12 weeks work placement is preferable. All work is unpaid. Your hours of work and the tasks assigned to you will be the responsibility of the host company. Accommodation in host family can be booked for the entire period of English language course and internship. This programme is available during the academic year in low season only (October to June). Prepare a 1 page Curriculum Vitae in English and a letter of application in English.The school will send this to the host companies. On receipt of the above documents, it will take 6 weeks to arrange your work placement. We can continue to provide host family accommodation during your work placement period, however please note your job may not be located close to the accommodation. You will travel to your place of work by public transport. It may be necessary for you to meet with the host company before commencing your work placement. We will be able to assist you with all the necessary arrangements. There is no refund for a cancellation made within 21 days of the commencement of a work placement. |

Minimum 1 lesson per week. Price: EUR 60.00 per private lesson English PLUS Irish Dancing: Learn Ireland´s traditional dances! Lessons take place in the afternoons and evenings. Irish Dancing lessons to be booked on arrival at the school only (subject to availability). Price: EUR 15.00 per private lesson English PLUS Gym membership: You can get a short-term gym membership for the duration of your course. The gym is located in the centre of Dublin, 10 minutes walk from the school (subject to availability). To be booked on arrival only. Price: EUR 7.00 approx. per visit (summer) / EUR 5.00 (approx.) per visit (winter) (Prices might change during the year.) English PLUS Sailing: 5 levels of sailing are available from level 1 to 5. Each level consists of 12 hours of tuition. Lessons can be arranged to suit the individual timetable (subject to availability). One Sailing level normally takes about 12 hrs of tuition, which can be completed normally over 1 weekend. Price: EUR 238.00 per level | English PLUS Kite Surfing: One session lasts usually half a day (3h) and you can take sessions either separately or in the full package. The package 12 hours is the minimum time of instruction we usually recommend to people who want to start the sport (no experience) and be able to go by their own after it, in a safe way. Of course depending on your background, you may reach different technical level than standard one after this time. This course can be done within 4 half days (during the week) or if the conditions are good, within 2 full intense days (or week-end). The 12 hours are effective hours so always consider more time on the beach + preparation. During all these hours you will be brought from the basics of a small kite control to the preparation of water starting and first rides on the board. | | English PLUS Sea Kayaking: Sea Kayaking courses cater for all level of paddlers, whether you are a complete beginner or very experienced. If you have never paddled before or it has been a long time since you’ve kayaked then the introductory course is perfect for you. These courses run weekly all summer long. The best way of exploring Ireland’s coastline! Sea Kayaks can go where no other craft can, nosing into the smallest nooks and crannies, yet still able to cover 30 kilometers in a day. There are evening and weekend courses. Evening courses are run one evening a week for three weeks and we then do a full day at a weekend. Weekend Courses take place on Saturday and Sunday – if you’re short of time, this is the one for you. You have to bring a pair of runners, a swimsuit and a fleece or thermal top; kayak, paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket and spray deck are provided. All instructors are qualified to teach and lead on open water by the Irish Canoe Union. Price: EUR 205 per person
English PLUS Paragliding: This course consists of learning to perform your daily inspection of equipment, preflight checks, inflate, control and inspect your paraglide while you are still on the ground. This is followed by 10 short top to bottom gliding flights from the training sites in the Wicklow mountains. All paragliding training and flying is totally weather dependent and as a result it is not possible to pick specific dates to start. Usually the first course starts in March. The months from May to August are best as you can take advantage of the longer daylight hours. You will have to fill in a booking form and pay a deposit and will then be advised of the next possible start date. The course will take a minimum of 3 days to complete spread over trainable weekends. Price: EUR 700 (EUR 100 deposit + EUR 600 payable on the first morning of your course)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, paragliding is an aviation sport with certain risks and in signing up for the course and completing the booking form you are acknowledging this fact.

Activities/Excursions

A minimum of two extra-curricular activities are organized every week, all year round. Full day guided coach tours are arranged every month during low season and every week during high season. The school offers you the opportunity to meet and experience the people and culture of lreland, we organize an excellent social program throughout the year. - Afternoon cultural visits in Dublin - Dublin Castle, Dublinia, Viking Adventure, Christchurch Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol, Guinness Storehouse Exhibition and many more.
- Evening Activities - Theatre, cinema, Irish music, greyhound racing, pub, quizzes, dancing.
- Full Day Coach Tours to places interest outside Dublin such as Glendalough and Avondale House, Co. Wicklow, Kilkenny City and Castle, Newgrange and the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath
- Weekend excursions to Galway and the Aran Islands, on the West Coat of Ireland
