The English language school has a total of seventeen classrooms all featuring the typical high ceilings and excellent plasterwork of that period. We welcome clients from all over the world. Courses are held at Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels.100% beginners are not accepted (except for private lessons). These levels correspond to the levels A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework.

Our English language school partner accepts clients all year round, only closing for the Christmas holidays in December.

The Cambridge Exam Preparation English language courses are designed to give you thorough preparation required for success in one of the Cambridge examinations. Our partner school in Dublin has a consistently high rate of success. Students attend our Standard English Course in the mornings (General English) and the specialized Cambridge preparation lessons on two afternoons.

This English language course is a small group course for adult professionals learners who require English for work, travel and socializing. The course has a duration of 1 or 2 weeks and is offered at specific start dates. The levels offered are Intermediate (B1) & Upper Intermediate( B2). Group size is limited to a maximum of 6 students per class.

You will learn:

• Social & functional language that you can use in your everyday life.
• Grammar including all the main tense structures
• Vocabulary to be used in a variety of professional and social situations

The Mini-group for Professionals English language course of 20 group lessons in small groups in the morning can also be combined 5, 10 or 15 individual one-to-one lessons. These private lessons will be tailored to your needs and can focus on Business English or any other language requirement that you may have such as Medical English, Legal English, Technical English, English for the aviation industry etc. You choose the content for the PLUS part of the timetable.

English for Special Purposes: We can arrange special individual or group courses to cater for the particular requirements of a company, an individual or a profession. To date we have organized English programmes for a wide variety industries including legal, medical, airline, telecommunications and many more.

The English + internship program is designed for students, graduates and young professionals aged 20 years or over with a good Intermediate (B2) English level. You must take a minimum of 4 weeks Standard Plus Business English language course before you start your unpaid work experience placement.

Work experience placements are arranged for periods of 4 weeks to 24 weeks. 4 weeks is the minimum period, 8 to 12 weeks work placement is preferable. All work is unpaid. Your hours of work and the tasks assigned to you will be the responsibility of the host company.

Accommodation in host family can be booked for the entire period of English language course and internship.

This programme is available during the academic year in low season only (October to June). It is not available during the high season (July, August & September). You may arrive and start your English course on any Monday.

You can choose from the following options:

English PLUS Music: You can book additional private music lessons including the following instruments: Banjo, Bodhran, Fiddle, Flute, Guitar, Harmonica, Irish harp, Mandolin, Piano accordion, Tin whistle and Uilleann pipes (subject to availability). Minimum 1 lesson per week. Price: EUR 60.00 per private lesson

English PLUS Irish Dancing: Learn Ireland´s traditional dances! Lessons take place in the afternoons and evenings. Irish Dancing lessons to be booked on arrival at the school only (subject to availability). Price: EUR 15.00 per private lesson

English PLUS Gym membership: You can get a short-term gym membership for the duration of your course. The gym is located in the centre of Dublin, 10 minutes walk from the school (subject to availability). To be booked on arrival only. Price: EUR 7.00 approx. per visit (summer) / EUR 5.00 (approx.) per visit (winter) (Prices might change during the year.)

English PLUS Sailing: 5 levels of sailing are available from level 1 to 5. Each level consists of 12 hours of tuition. Lessons can be arranged to suit the individual timetable (subject to availability). One Sailing level normally takes about 12 hrs of tuition, which can be completed normally over 1 weekend. Price: EUR 238.00 per level

Monday is starting date for all courses. When Monday is a public holiday, Tuesday is the starting day.

A minimum of two extra-curricular activities are organized every week, all year round. Full day guided coach tours are arranged every month during low season and every week during high season.

The school offers you the opportunity to meet and experience the people and culture of lreland, we organize an excellent social program throughout the year. 

• Afternoon cultural visits in Dublin - Dublin Castle, Dublinia, Viking Adventure, Christchurch Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol, Guinness Storehouse Exhibition and many more.
• Evening Activities - Theatre, cinema, Irish music, greyhound racing, pub, quizzes, dancing.
• Full Day Coach Tours to places interest outside Dublin such as Glendalough and Avondale House, Co. Wicklow, Kilkenny City and Castle, Newgrange and the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath
• Weekend excursions to Galway and the Aran Islands, on the West Coat of Ireland

Activity entrance + transport fees NOT included.

Extra activities such as music tuition in a traditional Irish instrument, Irish dancing, art classes, horse riding, golf, sailing and many others can be arranged upon request at an extra cost.
