The students will be given a welcome talk by the Academic Director where timetables, lessons and academic information are explained. You will learn how English is spoken and used in many situations and how to effectively use grammar, new vocabulary, idioms and practice pronunciation through reading, writing, speaking and listening, thus attaining fluency and confidence in the use of the language. - All grammar and vocabulary are taught in context making it easier for you to apply everything you have learnt in a natural way. Your teacher will bring everyday situations into the classroom and encourage active participation which will stimulate and facilitate learning.

| The job club is a free and quite popular service offered to our students. It consists of helping students to find a paid job whilst studying, in accordance to UK visa regulations. The school will guide you in CV and application letter writing, give you tips for interviews and direct you to the best places to find jobs locally. Jobs are typically in catering, housekeeping and the hospitality industry. There is no minimum number of weeks in order to use that service, however, it is rather recommended for long-term students (8 weeks +) as it might be difficult to find a job for a short study period only. Junior Summer English Programs (13-17 years)
| Brighton, the coolest city on the south coast is a traditional English seaside town with a difference. Well known for the cosmopolitan atmosphere, Brighton draws the young and hip from all over the world. In summer the city bursts into life with students enjoying the beach, the Pier, the Royal Pavilion and loads of great shopping.
Our English language partner school therefore offers an English language program for younger students aged 13 to 17 years during the summer months from June to August. Students can choose between accommodation in a host family or a student residence:
Host Family Accommodation – 27th June – 28th August 2010 Students stay in a twin room in one of our carefully selected host families. Bathroom facilities are shared and full board (breakfast, variety of hot or cold lunches in city centre restaurants and dinner), towels and bed linen as well as laundry service once per week are included in the price. The average travel time to the school by bus is 30 to 50 minutes. The cost of a bus pass is GBP 16 per week. | Varley Student Residence Accommodation – 4th July – 14th August 2010 Students stay in a single room at the residence. The residence has a common kitchen and a common room. Bathroom facilities are shared and full board (breakfast, variety of hot or cold lunches in city centre restaurants and dinner) is included in the price. Bed linen are provided and changed once per week. Towels are also included. The common areas and rooms are cleaned once per week and laundry facilities are available. Adult leaders live in the residence with the students. The residence is located 15-20 minutes by bus to the school and 25-30 minutes by bus to the city centre. Airport transfer upon arrival and departure is included in the price. Students must arrive on Sunday before the course starts and depart on Saturday after the end of the course between 8.00 and 20.00 at Heathrow or Gatwick airport. If students do not arrive/depart at the stipulated times/location the following one way transfer prices apply: Heathrow GBP 120, Gatwick GBP 85, Stansted GBP 205, Luton GBP 205, St. Pancras/Central London GBP 155, Ashford GBP 125. If your luggage fits into one car, you can share the cost of your transfer with a friend. If you are staying at different addresses you have to add GBP 10 per stop. If you book the service of unaccompanied minor traveling alone with the airline, the school will charge you GBP 30 to provide that service.

Family Program
| Our English language school partner offers the opportunity for families to experience a holiday with a difference in summer: sharing an unforgettable vacation whilst learning English. Parents can study at one of our adult centres whilst children take part in the Day Program at our Junior Centre. Alternatively, parents may choose to take a relaxing break whilst their children learn English.

Courses for Children (13-17 years) A classic Junior Day Program is available for teenagers aged 13-17 years in Brighton. These programs provide an ideal supplement to a family holiday. Teenagers can learn English, socialize with teens from all over the world and take part in a scheduled activity program. Brighton has plenty of sights to discover, even if you're just ambling around the towncentre. Whether you are after museums and landmarks, or pubs and clubs, you are sure to find it in this diverse city. The Brighton Pavilion and The Pier are hard to miss, and offer a wonderful insight into the origins of the city as a seaside resort of yesterday and today. There are several cinemas as well as theatres, a concert hall and museums/art galleries. The sea and seafront walkways bring a very sociable, sporty and outdoor way of life the city. The seafront, which spans from the Brighton Marina to Hove, is a wonderful place to exercise. In summer, the beach has its own special seasonal range of sports from swimming to volleyball and more |  | There are also plenty of spectator sports - enjoy a day at Brighton Races or a night at Brighton Greyhound Stadium. Oxford, Windsor and Cambridge Tour of the beautiful towns of Oxford, Windsor and Eton. Explore Oxford, famous for its universities and colleges.
