Assessment
Regular, formal assessment forms an important part of this course. You will be carefully monitored and guided to ensure you are achieving your full potential. Your work will be collated in your Learning Development File, which you can keep after your course. You will also be presented with the school´s International Diploma of English during a special awards ceremony for your Diploma year. Assessment on the International Diploma of English includes:

Students under 16 years must be accompanied to and from the airport. They can be accompanied by their parents or must book an airport transfer two ways.

Departure Check-in Service:
A check-in service can be arranged to assist students on departure. A driver or guide will assist the student with check-in and ensure that they pass through immigration. If the student is booked with the airline as Unaccompanied Minor, the driver will also wait until the flight has departed. The fee for this service is GBP 30. This service is compulsory for any student under 16 years traveling as individual.
 

Economy transfer from Heathrow to Bournemouth

Students arriving at London Heathrow on the following dates can use the Economy Transfer Service (Sundy only).

• Price for a one way ticket:
  - from London/Heathrow to Bournemouth (arrival): £ 40 for students aged 16 +, £ 70 for students under 16
  - from Bournemouth (school) to London/Heathrow (departure): £ 40 for students aged 16 +, £ 70 for students under 16
• Cost includes transport from Heathrow to accommodation on arrival and from the school to Heathrow on departure.
• The arrival transfer is suitable for flights arriving at Terminals 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 only between 10.00am –17.00pm. Please note that the traveling time from Terminal 4 and 5 to Terminal 1 can be up to 1 hour.
• Please note that the economy transfer is usually by coach and that coaches depart approx. every 2-3 hours.
  
• Departure: Economy transfer is available for flights departing after 12.00pm.
• Students under the age of 16 will be met in the Arrivals Hall in the terminal and then on departure they will be assisted with check-in. There is a supplement for this service which is compulsory.
• Students aged 16+ should collect their luggage and go to the information desk at Terminal 1 to meet a representative from the school. Instructions for meeting the guide will be sent after booking the transfer.
