| Summer Vacation English Language Course (20 lessons and 1 excursion per week) (Code SV) | Exciting international summer course combining English language study with a weekly excursion and a program of visits and activities. Ideal for young adults aged 16+. The English language course includes classroom lessons focusing on listening, reading, comprehension and grammar as well as speaking and listening exercises. | |  | Important notes: - Please note that students on this course are not supervised when not in lessons.
- A standard activity programme is included but these activities are optional.
- Lessons operate on a shift system with a combination of morning and afternoon sessions.
- The free weekly excursion takes place on Saturday. Students are advised to arrive / depart on a Sunday so that they do not miss an excursion.
The VE program includes more activities than the SV, as well as a lunch from Monday to Friday (instead of half board for the SV) and laundry is included (instead of the 5£ fee per week for the SV). NOTES: - Please be aware that this course does not include a complete supervision. Students are treated as adults and are only supervised during the school activities.
- Departure Check-in Service: A check-in service can be arranged to assist students on departure. A driver or guide will assist the student with check-in and ensure that they pass through immigration. If the student is booked with the airline as Unaccompanied Minor, the driver will also wait until the flight has departed. The fee for this service is GBP 30. This service is compulsory for any student under 16 years traveling as individual.
- Unaccompanied Minors: It is essential to notify at the time of registration if a student is booked as an Unaccompanied Minor with the airline. For Unaccompanied Minors, the school will provide the name and telephone number of the person meeting the child on arrival and the parents must provide StudyGlobal with the name and contact details of the person meeting the child when they return home.

- 20 lessons (15 hours) per week in international classes in the morning or afternoon as dictated by timetable. Well-structured classroom lessons are combined with speaking and listening exercises to give students an opportunity to use English in a wide variety of everyday situations including travelling, shopping, living in an English home, going to a restaurant, talking to friends, using public transport, going out in the evening, etc.
- Optional sports and activity programme with at least 2-3 activities per week.

| Summer Vacation Extra English Course (20 lessons per week + activities/excursions) (Code VE) | | This English summer course is ideal for teenagers aged between 14 and 18 years. The language course is based on the summer vacation course SV but includes further services and custody for the younger students. As a result all activities are compulsory for students under 16 (unless exempted by their parents in writing) and not optional as in the SV Course. | Important notes: - All activities are obligatory and not optional for students under the age of 16, which guarantees an additional supervision of the students beyond the tuition. Students may only opt out of activities with the permission of their parents or group leader.
- 14-15 year-old students do not receive keys for the house of their guest families and have to be at home at the latest at 22:30 PM.
- Students are permitted to go out unsupervised in their free time and evenings but must return to their homestay by 10.30 PM.
- Students under 16 years must be accompanied to and from the airport. They can be accompanied by their parents or must book an airport transfer two ways.
