Intensive English Course (20 lessons per week)

Super-Intensive English Course (30 lessons per week)

The private course allows you to tailor your lessons to your own specific needs and make maximum progress in minimum time. You will plan your course program with your private instructor to maximize your English progress.

Details:

• 20, 30 or 40 lessons per week.
• Classes meet Monday through Friday (9:00am - 12:30pm for the 20 lessons course and 9:00am - 12:30pm with 5 afternoon sessions for the 30 and 40 lesson course)*
• Open to students at all levels
• Course starts every Monday
• Duration: 1 week minimum
  

*Timetable may vary in summer. The 40 lessons per week private lessons course is not available during the weeks containing a public holiday.

Individual lessons can also be chosen in combination with another course (minimum 2 lessons)

These courses aim at helping students to specialize in an area of English language and Irish culture and can only be taken in conjunction with a full time course. They are offered 5 afternoons per week for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks. Groups are 5 students min. and 14 students max.

Price: 70 EUR per week 

Cambrigde Preparation Intensive Course (20 group lessons per week)

The University of Cambridge Certificates are the most recognized certificates of British English around the world and are a very valuable proof of English language proficiency.

Our partner school offers a 12 week preparation program to both Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) and Certificate of Advanced English (CAE). Students in the FCE and CAE Preparation Courses focus on not only passing the final examination, but also on improving their general accuracy and fluency in English. All students must successfully pass a pre-test in order to participate in these courses. The school is not an exam centre for Cambridge. The exam can be taken in Dublin.

Cambridge Preparation Super Intensive Course (30 group lessons per week)

This program, more intensive, is offered over a reduced period of 6 weeks. It includes preparation to Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) and Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). All students must successfully pass a pre-test in order to participate in these courses.

TOEIC Preparation Course (10 lessons per week in combination with Intensive course)

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an English language proficiency test for people whose native language is not English. It measures the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment. A good score on your TOEIC exam makes an impressive addition to your resume and an important credential for your next job application.

The TOEIC preparation is a module offered in the afternoon and combined with a general English Intensive or One to One course. Our partner school is an exam centre for the TOEIC test. The test can be taken once each month at the school (on the last week of tuition, usually on Thursdays).

• TOEIC Exam fee (125 EUR) is not included in the price of the course. A specific exam book is necessary (55 EUR).

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the ability to communicate in English through the four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) of people who intend to study or work in an English speaking environment.

The IELTS preparation is a module offered in the afternoon and combined with a general English Intensive or One to One course over a period of 5 weeks. The school is not an exam centre for IELTS. The exam can be taken in Dublin, Cork or Belfast.

Intensive Business English Course (20 group lessons per week)

This program focused on business English allows clients with an intermediate to upper intermediate level of English to study professional English. It is aimed for clients who are studying or working in a business environment, who have done General English courses and are looking for something different or who are on an Academic year programme (12 weeks+).

This course is ideal for anyone seeking a group business English course cost effectively. Clients attend 20 lessons of General English and 10 Business English lessons and need to have an upper intermediate level of English to participate on this course. This course is designed to meet the needs and objectives of clients working in a business environment. The emphasis is on improving communication skills and presentation and meeting techniques are also covered. Focus is on business writing, selling on the telephone, customer service, presentations, meetings etc.

This course allows students to combine General English study in the mornings and focus on business English in the afternoons. During the Business English lessons, students can choose between several professional English modules including: Marketing, Publicity & PR or International Business Communications.

Executive English Program (35 group lessons per week)

This intensive course in small group enables highly motivated professionals to improve their existing English communication skills in a limited amount of time. Small groups (4 professionals max) meet for 35 lessons of business English. Available to upper intermediate to advanced students that have ideally some professional experience. Needs analysis is completed and a negotiated syllabus is decided with your business trainer. Seminars include negotiation techniques, presentation skills, business communication and cross cultural training. Business lunch with trainers is an option.

Note : When a small group does not contain a minimum of 2 participants, the client will receive 25 individual lessons.

Best Ager Program (20 lessons per week + Activities + Accommodation)

This course is aimed at clients from a variety of backgrounds who are 50+, Clients may be in a closed group or integrated into existing classes. The program emphasizes communication skills with an introduction to Irish culture and social life. Excursions, cultural workshops and activities form an integral part of the program.

The program also includes accommodation at a host family, in a single room with shared bathroom and half board. Accommodation can also be organised in selected B&Bs.

Price of the program : 275 EUR per week (incl. English course, Horse riding course, 1 excursion)

Notes : Horse riding hats are provided, horse riding shoes with a heel or Wellingtons (rubber boots) are required. Transport to and from horse riding is not included in the price of the program.

This 2 week program combines English classes in the morning and golf tuition in the afternoons.
