When applying for the AVI International insurance you must declare that you are in good health and clearly understand that all consequences from any illness or accident prior to your insurance coverage starting date are not covered, nor are any effects or consequences of the HIV virus or Hepatitis C transmission. You will also declare that you did not receive any medical treatment for the last 6 months and do not plan to receive any medical care abroad.

Insured Sums

The indemnity shall be determined from the first date of the event which impedes travel appearing in the documentary proof:

• 5 % of the total cost if the cancelation is made between 60 and 45 days before the date of the beginning of the journey
  
• 10 % of the total cost if the cancelation is made between 44 and 30 days before the date of the beginning of the journey
• 15 % of the total cost if the cancelation is made between 29 and 10 days before the date of the beginning of the journey
• 30 % of the total cost if the cancelation is made between 9 and 4 days before the date of the beginning of the journey
• 50 % of the total cost if the cancelation is made in the last 3 days before the date of the beginning of the journey
• 100 % in the vent of failure to appear at the departure
