Air Cork International Airport has now opened it’s new terminal. The new development will mean that the airport will now have a capacity for 5 million passengers per year. New routes are constantly being added so keep an eye on the following website for updates : www.corkairport.ie Bus The national bus company is called Bus Eireann and they operate both city buses and regional buses. Inside the city you can avail of weekly and monthly bus tickets that can be used to go to and from college. Here is their website www.buseireann.ie

Cork International Airport is one of Ireland's main airports and gateway to the South of Ireland. The airport is off the Kinsale Road and less then 10 minutes from Cork City centre (8 km). For more information about Cork’s International Airport visit: www.corkairport.ie BY BUS Option 1 – Skylink Airport City Shuttle A yellow bus departs from outside the Arrivals Hall at Cork Airport every 30 minutes and provides a non-stop connection to Cork City within 10-15 minutes. Each Airport Bus services the city centre with Bus stops beside most Cork Hotels, Hostels and B&B's. Skylink operates 7 days a week and passengers can purchase tickets from the Bus driver or on-line at www.skylinkcork.com Ticket Prices: Single Journey € 5 or Airport Return € 8 Option 2 – Bus Eireann | Bus Éireann provides frequent direct coach services between Cork Airport and Cork city centre (Parnell Place Bus Station). Bus numbers are:
226 – Route: Cork Parnell Place Bus Station – Cork Airport 249 – Route: Cork - Cork Airport - Kinsale – Garretstown
On Public Holidays, including St. Stephen's Day (December 26th) all Cork City services, including route 226 Air Coach services to Cork Airport, operate according to the Sunday schedule.Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. All departures serve Evergreen Road and Cork Airport Business Park.
