Courses - general information - All lessons are 45 minutes.
- Maximum 14 Students per class (average 10-12)
- Orientation / testing usually takes place on Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday).

All teachers are CELTA or DELTA qualified. You will have at least two teachers during your course to ensure a varied learning experience.
Our English Language School partner uses a system of 8 levels from beginners to advanced to determine the level of your language progression. These language level descriptions are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Typically students progress up one level every 6-10 weeks. Your own progress will depend on the length and intensity of your course, the level at which you are current studying, as well as your own personal ability and motivation. English PLUS Business & Finance Language Course (28 lessons per week)
| This English language course is ideal for students who would like to improve their English skills for use in a wide range of business and financial contexts. It combines General English with specialist Business and Finance related topics and the option to prepare for the Cambridge ICFE and BEC 28 lessons per week arranged in 2 sections: - 20 lessons: general English - grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, comprehension and pronunciation.
- 8 lessons: Business and finance terminology, report writing, presentation skills incl. use of PowerPoint; Business case-study – presentation and report; Optional preparation for ICFE and BEC exams
Practical real-life business experence: Every two weeks you will have an accompanied visit to one of London’s leading business and financial institutions. You’ll learn more about the world of commerce and practice your language skills in real life situations. | Summer Vacation Course (20 lessons + 1 excursion per week) | Great value international summer course with lessons, excursions, sports and activities! The course combines English language lessons with a programme of optional sports and activities and a weekly excursion. The English language course includes classroom lessons focusing on listening, reading, comprehension and grammar as well as speaking and listening exercises. | Essential information - 20 lessons (15 hours) per week in international classes

- Duration: 2-11 weeks
- Minimum age 16 (students aged 14-15 are accepted at London but only if they come as part of a group and accompanied by a group leader).

| | Important notes - Please note that students on this course are not supervised when not in lessons.
- A standard activity programme is included but these activities are optional.
- Lessons operate on a shift system with a combination of morning and afternoon sessions.
- The free weekly excursions take place on Saturday. Students are advised to arrive / depart on a Sunday so that they do not miss an excursion.
Notes: - Please be aware that this course does not include a complete supervision. Students are treated as adults and are only supervised during the school activities.
- Departure Check-in Service: A check-in service can be arranged to assist students on departure. A driver or guide will assist the student with check-in and ensure that they pass through immigration. If the student is booked with the airline as Unaccompanied Minor, the driver will also wait until the flight has departed. The fee for this service is GBP 30. This service is compulsory for any student under 16 years traveling as individual.
- Unaccompanied Minors: It is essential to notify at least 4 weeks in advance if a student is booked as an Unaccompanied Minor with the airline. For Unaccompanied Minors, the school will provide the name and telephone number of the person meeting the child on arrival and the parents must provide StudyGlobal with the name and contact details of the person meeting the child when they return home.

| Summer Vacation Extra Course (20 lessons per week + activities/excursions) | Ideal for students aged 14-16 ! This course is basically the same programme as the Summer Course SV but includes additional services and supervision for young students. As a result all activities are compulsory for students under 16 (unless exempted by their parents in writing) and not optional as in the SV Course. Important notes: | - All activities are obligatory and not optional for students under the age of 16, which guarantees an additional supervision of the students beyond the tuition. Students may only opt out of activities with the permission of their parents or group leader.
- The students are NOT supervised on their way to the school and on their way back after the activity programme. 14- and 15-year-old students don´t get the key to the houses of their host families . Students are permitted to go out unsupervised in their free time and evenings but must return to their homestay by 10.30 PM. Students aged 14-15 are not allowed to travel into central London without supervision.
- Prices of excursions do not include the entrance fee for tourist attractions. However this Summer Vacation Extra Course has been created to maximize the amount of free activities and excursions.
- Students under 16 years must be accompanied to and from the airport. They can be accompanied by their parents or must book an airport transfer two ways.

JUNIOR SUMMER CAMP (20 lessons per week)
| The perfect study holiday for students aged 10-15 with an excellent variety of lessons, sports, activities and excursions. This Summer Camp, which takes place at Farringtons School, is situated in the pretty village of Chislehurst (Bromley) on the border with rural Kent and the famous ‘Garden of England’.
The area is beautiful with an abundance of parks and a charming town centre just a few minutes` walk from the school. Chislehurst is approximately 15 km from central London and 45 km from Heathrow Airport.

There is a full laundry service and rooms are cleaned daily. There is a mixture of smaller study bedrooms and larger dormitories (with a maximum of 6 students per room). The communal bathrooms are also of a good standard with plenty of showers. There are a number of common rooms which the students can use to watch films, chat to friends and generally relax. There will be 24 hours supervision by qualified members of our staff. |
