HOW TO GET TO DUBLIN

Instructions for reaching from Dublin International Airport to Dublin City Centre

 

 

Dublin airport is located approximately 7km north of Dublin's city centre.

TAXI - You can get a taxi from the airport to most areas in Dublin. An average day fare from City Centre is €15.00. Ask the taxi driver to estimate the fare before getting into the car if in doubt. There are extra charges for additional passengers, luggage, animals (other than guide dog), time of day, Sundays, and public holidays. Bus 747 - Departs from Bus Stop 1 (One), every 10 minutes. Cost EUR €4.50 per person. Route: From Dublin Airport to central bus station, Busaras, in city centre. Average journey is 30 minutes.

Service is available: 05.45 – 23.30hrs Monday to Saturday, 07.15 – 23.20hrs Sunday.

 

Aerdart Bus/Train - Departs from Bus Stop 6 (Six), every 15/20 minutes. Cost for the combined bus and dart train ticket is EUR €5.00. Route: From Dublin Airport to Howth Junction Dart/Train Station.

Service is available: 05.45 - 22.45hrs Monday to Friday, 06.30 – 22.45hrs Saturday, 08.30 – 22.45hrs Sunday.

 

Air Coach - a private bus service, links all major Dublin city hotels with the airport, cost EUR €5.00. Departs every 15 minutes. Service is available: 05.00 – 24.00hrs. After 24.00 hours service is available every hour.
