The city is a pearl in the Mediterranean, it has an exceptional
climate all year long of around 26 degrees Celsius (83 Fahrenheit)
and offers beautiful white sand beaches that makes it one of
the most awarded beach cities of the European Union. The beach
of Postiguet is located directly in the city center itself.
Tourism has made Alicante one of the fastest growing regions
in Spain with an airport connecting to most major cities in
Europe.
Alicante has 500 000 inhabitants and offers the advantages
of a medium-sized city together with a rich cultural life.
A young and dynamic university, flourishing economy combined
with the ancient traditions of Moorish culture such

Estudio de Lenguas
in Alicante is one of our newest institutions but belongs
to a group of language schools founded in 1955. The school
is located in one the most beautiful neighborhoods of Alicante
facing the beach of Postiguet. Our building has been
completely renovated to offer 10 well-lit air-conditioned classrooms over 2 stories,
ideal for
small group classes as well as a library, video lab and
common area.
We recruit our teachers according to their enthusiasm, involvement
with the student and their approach to group work. The
family atmosphere is predominant at the Estudio in Alicante,
as most of our teachers have been part of our staff for many
years.

| Take an Intensive Spanish course
(20 lessons per week) to improve all your Spanish language skills:
oral and written comprehension and oral and written expression.
In stimulating lessons, you will study Spanish grammar and practice
it in real-life communicative situations. Your lessons will
include newspapers, magazines, audio/video programs and other
authentic materials. There will be various
exercises to practice different grammatical structures, regular
and irregular verbs, dictations, essays, reading with special
attention to phonetics and free or controlled conversation in
Spanish. All of these exercises are then checked by teachers. |

Long Term Course
"Español para Siempre" |
| The "Español para Siempre"
course is aimed at those students who would like to learn Spanish
once and for all. From 10 to 48 weeks, the course starts the
first Monday of every month and it is economically priced. The
learning of the language, participation in everyday life, the
possibility of traveling around Spain, give the student an in-depth
experience of Spanish Language and Culture. Courses starting
in January and September are especially recommended for DELE
Diplomas. |

DELE Examination
Course (20 + 4 lessons per week) |

| The Estudio runs special preparation
courses for the DELE exams in Spain. Diploma Inicial, Básico
and Diploma Superior in Madrid. The course takes place 4, 5 or
10 weeks
before the exams for those students of the corresponding level. The DELE (Diploma de Español
como Lengua Extranjera), issued by Spain's Ministry of Education
and administered by the Instituto Cervantes, is an offical
accreditation of Spanish language abilities. It is recognized by
official institutions of Spanish-speaking countries as well as
countries where Spanish is not the official language. The exam
verifies abilities in reading, writing, speaking, and
understanding Spanish with three levels of certification:
- Certificado Inicial beginner
- Diploma Basico intermediate
- Diploma Superior superior
Apart from gaining Spanish language certification, the exam
preparation course is an excellent way to arrive at a balanced
level of proficiency.

Intensive PLUS Course
(25/30 + 4 lessons per week) |
| The Intensive PLUS
course is offered throughout the year (except in June). It is
aimed at students who wish to improve oral or written Spanish,
specific terminology, business language, exam preparation, etc.
It’s an Intensive course plus 5/10 lessons per week of
One-to-One teaching, with a total of 25/30 lessons per week. Intensive
PLUS is recognized by Bildungsurlaub in Germany.

One-to-One

| This course is aimed
at professionals, teachers or university students who wish to
improve their linguistic knowledge with shortest possible time
delay
or who wish to reach a survival level in a few days. The course
is offered at all levels, from beginner to expert or pre-bilingual,
and it is based on the participant’s skills and his/her
professional or social needs. Work material can be incorporated
into the course. The length and intensity, is decided by the
participant. |

- Day Excursions to the Island of Tabarca, Altea and Ibiza
(2 per month).
- Guided visits to museums and historical monuments (1 per
week).
