StudyGlobal attaches great importance to
accommodation. The families are carefully selected, as are the
hotels and apartments. Do not forget to
specify on the registration form any dietary requirements,
allergies, smoker/non-smoker, etc, as well as your preferences.
Staying with families allows students to practice the language
and to become acquainted with the meals and way of life of the
people. The Director of each School, always at the students´
disposal, can change your family accommodation if the need
arises.
All accommodations start on Sunday (before the course) and end on Saturday (after
the course). There will be a charge for extra days and requests
for extra days should be made in advance. Apartments, hotels
and student rooms are paid for the booked period and the school
will not be held responsible for any refunds due to cancellation
or change of accommodation. Prices and conditions are in the
price list.

Dublin
Accommodation |

The experience of living
with an Irish family is one of the most important aspects of
a students visit to Ireland. We have carefully selected each
of our host families to ensure excellent standards with good
food and comfortable accommodation. You will be accommodated
with an Irish family within a short bus or train ride to the
city center. Most students select host family accommodation
and we highly recommend this choice. All students are accommodated on a single room basis during
the periods January to June and October to December. In summer,
single room is subject to availability at a supplementary fee.
We never place two students of the same mother tongue together,
unless requested. Accommodation is arranged on a part board
basis, i.e. breakfast and evening meal., depending on the course
that you have chosen. Most Irish families live in the suburbs of Dublin
in houses with
gardens. You will have to travel to and from
school each day by bus or train. We take care to give you detailed
and accurate information regarding same before your arrival
in Dublin.

Host Family
To gain maximum exposure to the language, we encourage
students to stay with one of our carefully selected English host
Families. Students normally arrive at their Host Families on
Sunday and leave their Host Families on Saturday. Our Half-Board
Accommodation (including breakfast and dinner during the week)
is available in the Non-Summer Period and in the
Summer Period at different rates. We are proud of our ability to recruit the very
best host families; this is helped by the fact that, in this
beautiful and historic city of 200,000 people, there is only
one other language school. |

we take extra care in selecting our host families and placing
you with a family which suits you. Our families will include
you as much as possible in their family life so that you can
learn about Canadian culture while you continue to learn English
outside of the classroom. In some families, there may be more
than one student, but not from the same language group.
With our Homestay program, you will be provided with the following: |
 |
- A private bedroom, furnished with a desk and study lamp.
- A meal plan to suit your needs (full board, half board
or B&B).
- Shared washroom and access to laundry facilities.
- A friendly atmosphere where you can practice speaking
English.
- Accommodation which is within easy traveling distance
to the school (25 - 40 mins by public transport).
- Premium Homestay option (private bathroom).
You may choose to arrive any time from the Friday before
class starts and stay through until Sunday after class ends.
Any extra nights will be charged at the daily rate. If you
stay with your host family over school breaks, a daily rate
will be applied. We need one month's notice if you plan to
stay longer or to leave earlier than originally planned.
